Here are some questions we commonly get asked:
Do you buy pre-owned firearms?
Yes! Wandering Bear Outfitters can purchase used non-restricted firearms. Please note that all used firearms will need to be cleaned and brought to the store for appraisal before we purchase them (this cannot be done over the phone). The appraisal will include an inspection and test to ensure functionality. Please remove any accessories on the firearm you don’t wish to sell.
Do you sell used firearms on consignment?
Yes! Wandering Bear Outfitters offers consignment for used non-restricted firearms. The appraisal will include an inspection and test to ensure functionality. Please remove any accessories on the firearm you don’t wish to sell.
Can I sell my firearm accessories on consignment?
If you have any accessories on your used firearm that you wish to sell, we can accommodate that. If you’re bringing in a used firearm with attachments you do not want to sell, please remove them before bringing them to the store for appraisal. We will not be consigning any individual accessories unless it is attached to the firearm being consigned.
I have a lot of pre-owned firearms I want to sell. Can I do that?
Not a problem. If you have a large collection of used firearms that would be too difficult to bring to the store, we can work out a time and date to come to your residence to perform an onsite appraisal. Please call us at (236) 426-3938.
There is live ammo stuck in the gun. Can I still sell it?
All used firearms brought to the store are required to be unloaded. If there is live ammo stuck in the firearm, please take it to a licensed gunsmith to be fixed.
Do you carry archery gear?
Currently, we do not. But, this is something we are excited to introduce as Wandering Bear continues to grow.
