At Wandering Bear, we want to make sure that firearms can find new life with the next age of hunters and target shooters. If you were able to get good use out of a firearm for a few years, we want the next owner to have that same amount of fun and make their own memories with it.
How to sell and consign firearms locally.
If you’re looking to sell or consign your used firearm, it is important that we make sure it is in good working condition, cleaned and ready for resale. To accommodate this, all used and consignment firearms will be looked over and verified during an appraisal in the store. If necessary, you may be asked to leave the firearm in the store so that we can perform additional tests to ensure proper working order.
All appraisals must be done in-store and we will not be offering over-the-phone quotes. If you are bringing in multiple firearms and/or accessories, each item will be appraised individually and done according to the current value in Canada.
If you have a large collection of firearms you’re looking to unload, we can arrange a time for our staff to visit your home to perform the appraisal there.

Buying and Consigning Firearms
To purchase a restricted firearm from Wandering Bear Outfitters, you will need a valid restricted license. At the time of purchase, you will fill out the necessary paperwork and then we will transfer the firearm to you. Only after you have received the appropriate temporary transport paperwork will the firearm be released to you.
You are required by law to have a lockable case and trigger lock for the restricted firearm to transport it from the store to your residence.
